We bound people with our creativity……

Devotion India was started about six years ago by Alpana Aggarwal with the support and encouragement of her sister-in-law, Suman Mital and the active help of her mother-in-law, Bimla Aggarwal. What started off just like a hobby with a hundred rakhis has now touched the 8000 mark and is now also supplied to retailers in Delhi, Chandigarh and Ludhiana. While all the designs are handpicked, the materials are sourced from all over India. We cater to all age groups and have a wide variety of rakhis made out of straw, terracotta, beads and PoP, tastefully mixed and matched with many other things".

The rakhis are quite a delightful deviation from the usual ones. Sample this one, in which we have used cardamoms with silver beads on them and so is the one with almonds similarly. A good range of sleek threads festooned with delicate embellishments like colourful glass beads, pure silver beads or a satin cloth shaped nicely, add to the charm.

Then there are Rakhis of contemporary as well as traditional designs. The traditional rakhis are made with rudraksh, gota or doris. There are rakhis made of silver too. There’s also a range for kid’s rakhis with cartoon characters on them, like these cute little gleaming Mickey and Donald rakhis. Then for the adventure loving brothers we have the famous kite shaped Rakhis which are a big hit.

We also have other Rakhi-specific stuff- like a cane thaali all decked up for the spirit of the festival or a Ganesh statue coupled with two rakhis, rice & roli. Those whose brothers are staying somewhere far off, there is this- photo frame with lovely message on the brother-sister bond. We also have special containers made of tissue and silk to pack sweets and chocolates.

We are also making a range of containers ranging from Wine bottle bags to traditional carry bags.

We are also into corporate gift packing and wedding gift packing.
